Education for the inspired photographer

I just can't help it. I LOVE my work and I want to share this with others who are just as passionate as I am, but I completely understand the hardships of getting started too. My business was not built overnight, and with so many educational options out there, finding where to start can be a huge decision. I have created two safe places that are a great place to get you to where you want to be! Welcome, this is the place to find the right fit for you and your business!

One-on-One Mentoring: $200

This industry can be extreemly overwhelming, but achieving your dream is worth it! The best way to learn is to look to someone who has gone before you and ask questions. I am not perfect and I have made many mistakes in the past, and I have been at the begining. If you are serious about making this dream a reality, mentoring is the next best step for you!

This is a 2.5 hour session scheduled on either Monday or Tuesday evenings. Here are just some of the things I will cover:

  • Marketing/Branding
  • Camera Equiptment
  • Off Camera Flash
  • Client Relationships
  • Workflow and tools
  • Editing

Coffee & Cameras Workshop: $75

With so many educational options out there and it costing so much, it is a real sacrifice to start a photography business. This workshop is a great place to start your journey! This workshop is helld in my office in Newport News, Va near CNU, it is 3 hours long with breakfast provided and I only offer 8 spots. This is a small group of photographers so it is a safe place, you can ask any questions you have (no matter how "beginner" or "dumb" you think they might be), I will get to see your business and tell you where your next steps could be, and you create lasting friendships with the others in the group where you can grow together and encourage each other as you learn.
